Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of litigated matters, including contested motions, appeals, and evidentiary hearings. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work alongside high-level attorneys.

Duties

• Draft motions, briefs, and memorandums of law.
• Conduct legal research.
• Appear in court for contested motions and evidentiary hearings.
• Respond to discovery requests and manage motion practice.
• Devise and execute legal strategies for contested cases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in contested motion practice.
• Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania; New Jersey and/or New York is a plus.
• Willingness to waive into additional jurisdictions.
• Superior writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload efficiently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
