Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Foreclosure Associate Attorney to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in foreclosure processes and be adept at managing complex legal documents and court appearances.

Duties

  • Review complaints, praecipes, and other legal documents for accuracy.
  • Examine title, pre-commencement notices, and collateral documents to ensure completeness.
  • Appear in court for various proceedings, including conciliation conferences and litigated matters.
  • Communicate directly with servicers and investors on escalated issues and strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a foreclosure or title-related role; 5+ years preferred.
  • Admission to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; New York and/or New Jersey admission is a plus.
  • Superior organizational skills to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Strong legal writing and drafting skills, focusing on complex motions and documents.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, adversaries, and court personnel.
  • Leadership qualities to manage and guide support staff.
  • Proactive and independent worker eager to learn and grow.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
