Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney for its Knoxville, Tennessee office. The attorney will manage motor vehicle liability cases, including trial preparation and representation of plaintiff clients in Tennessee.

Duties

• Handle day-to-day management of motor vehicle accident cases in Tennessee.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Guide clients through the legal process.
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports and affidavits.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Requirements

• Law degree (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Tennessee State Bar.
• 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and take them to trial.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
