Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Benefits Associate Attorney to join their Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation group in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in benefits, including qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and executive and deferred compensation arrangements. Experience in M&A, ERISA litigation, and withdrawal liability is advantageous. The role requires strong writing, oral advocacy, communication, and legal analysis skills, with a preference for team-oriented individuals.

Duties

• Advise on qualified retirement plans and health and welfare plans.
• Handle executive and deferred compensation arrangements.
• Support benefits and compensation in M&A transactions.
• Assist in ERISA litigation and withdrawal liability matters.
• Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of benefits experience in private practice.
• Detail-oriented with excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills for diverse client interactions.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
