Job Overview

A law firm seeks a midlevel associate with approximately 3-5 years of transactional experience to join its energy and infrastructure practice in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transactional work, including M&A, project finance, and commercial contracting, with a preference for experience in energy and infrastructure projects.

Duties

  • Engage in sophisticated energy and infrastructure transactions.
  • Handle project finance and project development tasks.
  • Participate in energy M&A and infrastructure development.
  • Manage acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial and project agreements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of transactional experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in the energy and infrastructure sector.
  • Experience in M&A, project finance, or related fields preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
