A law firm seeks a Corporate/Transactional Attorney with over 6 years of experience to join its Winston-Salem, NC office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and transactional matters, with excellent academic credentials and communication skills. While experience in commercial real estate is a plus, it is not required. Duties

  • Provide strategic legal counsel on corporate and transactional matters, ensuring tailored solutions for clients.

  • Lead client relationships, offering clear, engaging legal advice on corporate issues.
  • Manage and develop business for the firm by growing current client relationships and attending business development events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various disciplines to provide comprehensive legal support.
  • Delegate work to paralegals, associates, and support staff as necessary.
  • Assist managing partners with special projects and other legal duties as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate and transactional law.
  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or willing to obtain admission.
  • Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Strong understanding of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and business contracts.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain admission.

Skills

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong academic background with attention to detail and organizational skills.
