Duties

• Collaborate closely with paralegals, mentoring them and ensuring top-tier legal work.
• Independently manage cases from intake to resolution.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, setting expectations and providing reassurance.
• Prepare thoroughly for mediations and trials through meticulous research and planning.
• Draft precise legal documents, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Advocate confidently for clients in court, leading hearings, mediations, and trials effectively.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in Georgia with at least five years of family law experience.
• Proven skills in litigation, negotiation, and strategic case management.
• Experience with bench trials, jury trials, motions hearings, and handling TPOs, legitimations, modifications, contempts, contested adoptions, and divorces.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities comfortably.
• Proficiency in Clio or similar legal case management software.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.
