A law firm seeks an experienced lawyer to join its Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice in Waterbury, CT. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience with qualified retirement plans, executive compensation, and health welfare plans. Experience in employer-side general labor and employment matters is also desirable.

Duties

• Advise on qualified retirement plans and executive compensation.
• Handle health welfare plans and benefits in merger & acquisition transactions.
• Manage employer-side general labor and employment matters.
• Develop strong client relationships and provide practical, client-centered solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of relevant legal experience.
• Licensed to practice law in Connecticut.
• Strong communication and drafting skills.
• Desire to grow into a leadership role within the Employee Benefits team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Connecticut Bar Admission.
