A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for their Personal Injury Pre-Litigation department in Oakland, CA. The successful candidate will manage a significant caseload and collaborate with a team of professionals to achieve optimal settlements for clients.

Duties

• Manage a significant caseload with case managers and assistants.
• Collaborate with sales, property damage, case management, demands/negotiation, and liens departments.
• Communicate legal concepts and strategies to clients and opposing counsel.
• Attend and conduct hearings regularly.
• Develop skills in the personal injury pre-litigation process.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Superior analytical and legal research skills.
• Creative and strategic thinking abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
