A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Trial Attorney in Oakland, CA. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of personal injury claims from initial consultation through trial or settlement, requiring regular in-person attendance due to the nature of the work.

Duties

• Manage personal injury claims from consultation to trial or settlement.
• Handle cases involving workplace injuries, vehicle accidents, and product liability.
• Prepare for and conduct trials.
• Draft and oppose motions, including summary judgment and motions in limine.
• Collaborate with experts to support cases.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Minimum 10 years of litigation experience.
• Significant trial experience.
• Deposition and mediation experience.
• Strong legal writing skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with workers' compensation is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
