Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Maritime Coverage/Defense Attorney with marine coverage and litigation experience to join its New York office. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on marine insurance coverage issues.

Duties

  • Analyze marine insurance policies and relevant contracts.
  • Interact with clients and draft pleadings and discovery demands.
  • Conduct depositions and perform legal research.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of litigation experience.
  • Familiarity with marine insurance coverage issues.
  • Admitted and in good standing in New York; additional state admissions are a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in New York.
