Financial Services Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Financial Services Litigation Attorney with at least seven years of experience to join their office in Irvine, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in representing financial institutions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, including motion practice, depositions, hearings, alternative dispute resolution, and trial preparation.

Duties

• Analyze, organize, and draft pleadings such as demurrers and motions to dismiss.
• Lead e-discovery and fact development, including depositions.
• Appear in state and federal court for conferences and motions.
• Engage in strategic and analytical problem-solving for client challenges.

Requirements

• Experience with (R)FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, UCC, EFTA, TILA, and UCL/UDAP.
• Active California license required.
• Experience from a regional, national, or outstanding local law firm preferred.
• Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
