Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level Corporate and Tax Associate specializing in Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation in Los Angeles, California. Duties

• Advise on structuring, negotiating, and drafting employment, compensation, and separation agreements.
• Lead compensation and benefits aspects of M&A transactions, financings, and bankruptcies.
• Provide guidance on ERISA, Section 409A, and compliance matters involving equity plans.
• Advise compensation committees on governance and fiduciary obligations.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits.
• Significant experience with equity plans, "top hat" and severance plans.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in California preferred.
