Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Attorney in Buffalo, NY. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in real estate law and transactions, with a strong understanding of title examinations, certificates, insurance, deed packages, contracts, mortgage payoffs, and other closing actions. Candidates must be highly motivated with excellent communication skills.

Duties

  • Advise clients on legal issues related to real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with laws.
  • Draft and negotiate residential real estate contracts.
  • Handle real estate closings, including document preparation and title searches.
  • Manage commercial acquisitions, sales, and financing.
  • Act as examining counsel in residential and commercial closings.
  • Manage and organize paralegal workload.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in New York State.
  • Minimum of five years of experience, ten years preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in New York State.
