Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate in Buffalo, NY, with 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong drafting, organizational, and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Represent buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, developers, and investors in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, amendments, easements, and related documents.
  • Manage and coordinate due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, and environmental review.
  • Assist with closings and post-closing matters.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development efforts, as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other practice areas to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of New York.

  • Experience with a broad range of commercial real estate transactions.
  • Familiarity with real estate documentation and deal processes.
