Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate in New York, NY to support clients in resolving legal matters related to digital assets and emerging technologies.

Duties

• Advise public and private companies on domestic and cross-border transactions.
• Draft and negotiate term sheets, non-disclosure agreements, and transaction documents.
• Prepare proxy statements, registration statements, and SEC filings.
• Advise on securities law compliance and directorial duties.
• Identify and solve complex legal issues in mergers and acquisitions.
• Draft and review legal documents and contracts.
• Prepare and review due diligence reports.
• Utilize legal research tools for document proofreading and research.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree or equivalent.
• Two years of relevant legal experience.
• Admitted to practice law in New York.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree or equivalent.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York.

Skills

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools.
• Ability to manage complex transactions.

This firm is high on profits per partner, but low in terms of associate satisfaction. The good news?
