Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified Financial Markets and Regulatory Associate to join its dynamic practice group in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of core experience in financial services, including securities and/or derivatives, and expertise in digital assets, blockchain technology, and/or artificial intelligence.

Duties

  • Provide legal advice on financial services, securities, and derivatives.
  • Advise on matters involving digital assets and blockchain technology.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on regulatory issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents and agreements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services law.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Admitted to the bar in Illinois, New York, or Washington, D.C., or eligible to waive in.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in Illinois, New York, or Washington, D.C.
