A dynamic and reputable law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a skilled Business Attorney with at least five years of relevant experience to join its expanding legal team. The ideal candidate will advise clients on complex corporate matters, draft and negotiate key business contracts, and provide strategic legal guidance to ensure compliance with regulations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced lawyer to grow within a well-established and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel on various business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including partnership, shareholder, and service contracts.
  • Advise clients on business structure, financing options, and intellectual property protection matters.
  • Represent clients in corporate disputes, mediation, and arbitration proceedings as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to stay ahead of regulatory changes and to inform strategic decisions.
  • Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and other departments to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Mentor and support junior attorneys and legal staff, providing guidance and training.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business law, with a proven track record of handling complex corporate transactions and legal matters.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Strong understanding of business law, including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial contracts.
  • Experience in dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively in complex situations.
