Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in New York City. The successful candidate will handle complex litigation with limited supervision, working collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent writing and oral advocacy skills, ideally with experience in consumer class actions.

Duties

• Develop and implement case strategy, advising clients accordingly.
• Draft substantive memoranda, including motions and appellate briefs.
• Manage discovery efforts, including drafting requests and responses.
• Collaborate with experts and manage document productions.
• Independently manage projects and interact with clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of commercial litigation experience.
• Experience in defending class action litigation preferred.
• Familiarity with federal and state privacy laws is advantageous.
• Admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction of employment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.
