A law firm seeks a skilled Commercial Litigation Attorney in New York City, NY, with three to five years of experience to handle complex litigation matters. Duties

• Represent clients in all phases of commercial litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Develop case strategies and advise clients on litigation risks and opportunities.
• Take and defend depositions, appear in court for hearings and trials, and participate in arbitration.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure effective case management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations affecting commercial litigation.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active New York Bar membership; Florida Bar membership a plus.
• 3+ years of litigation experience, including substantive foreclosure experience.
• Ability to manage litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Experience with e-discovery review platforms and litigation protocols concerning ESI.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to collaborative case strategies.
• Ability to interact independently with clients and adversaries.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Education
