Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Employment Law Attorney in San Mateo, California. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel and representation in employment law matters, including litigation and advisory services. Duties

  • Provide expert legal counsel and representation in employment law litigation.
  • Assist clients with defense against FEHA, Title VII, and related claims.
  • Defend class and PAGA action cases.
  • Handle trade secret and unfair competition actions.
  • Defend wage and hour claims.
  • Represent clients before state and federal administrative agencies.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Actively pursue business development opportunities.
  • Present employment law trainings and seminars for clients.
  • Supervise and mentor associates.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the State Bar of California.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in employment law litigation.
  • Proven track record in handling complex employment law matters.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, consulting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
