A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking an Auto and Premises Liability Litigation Attorney with 2-5 years of defense litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have experience handling cases from inception to jury verdict, including auto and premises liability, and will be admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.

Duties:

  • Manage and litigate auto and premises liability cases from inception through jury verdict.
  • Represent clients in civil litigation and insurance defense matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
  • Prepare and argue motions, conduct depositions, and handle discovery.
  • Attend and participate in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Prepare cases for trial, including developing case strategy and coordinating with experts.
  • Provide clients with legal advice and keep them informed on case progress.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of defense litigation experience, with a focus on auto and premises liability.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
  • Experience handling cases from inception to jury verdict in civil litigation and insurance defense preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent research, drafting, and case management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Certifications:
