A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Employment Litigation Partner with 8+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will lead the employment litigation practice, manage a team of attorneys, and provide strategic legal counsel to clients.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage the employment litigation practice within the firm.
  • Represent clients in employment-related disputes, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Conduct and oversee legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
  • Prepare for and conduct trials, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on employment law matters and risk management.
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and engage in business development activities.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
  • 8+ years of experience in employment litigation.
  • Proven ability to lead a legal practice and manage a team.
  • Strong trial experience and familiarity with all aspects of litigation.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Certifications (preferred but not required):

  • Certification in Employment Law or related field.

Skills:

  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
  • Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Business development and marketing skills.
