Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Supervising Attorney, Liens in Irvine, CA. The role involves ensuring operational efficiency and accurate processing of client distribution agreements to protect clients and maximize recovery. Duties

  • Provide operational leadership to Liens Negotiators and Assistants.
  • Communicate and negotiate with medical providers and lienholders.
  • Train staff on negotiating and documenting liens.
  • Resolve outstanding liens to maximize client recovery.
  • Stay informed of lien laws and regulations.
  • Assist clients with lien-related inquiries.
  • Draft correspondence and legal research memoranda.
  • Collaborate with litigation and settlement teams.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Personal Injury Liens.
  • 5+ years of experience in personal injury or healthcare lien resolution.
  • Knowledge of medical billing and insurance processes preferred.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar preferred.
  • Experience with governmental and private insurance lien resolution.
  • Experience writing department processes preferred.
  • Experience in a plaintiff's law firm preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • California Bar license preferred.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and train a team.
  • Proficient in legal research and documentation.
