Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Associate Attorney in Irvine, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, managing a diverse caseload and leading a legal team. The position involves preparing complex pleadings, crafting correspondence, and representing clients in various legal settings.

Duties

  • Manage a diverse caseload.
  • Oversee a legal team, including a senior attorney, junior attorney, and paralegal.
  • Prepare complex pleadings and review materials prior to filing or service.
  • Craft correspondence to clients, experts, and opposing attorneys.
  • Meet with clients and experts.
  • Represent clients at court hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in family law.
  • In-depth knowledge of the California Family Code, Code of Civil Procedure, and Evidence Code.
  • Extensive courtroom experience, including evidentiary hearings and trials.
  • Strong legal writing and research skills.
  • Prior leadership or management experience.
  • Proficiency in Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Xspouse/Xarrears software.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • CA State Bar License (Required).
