Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Corporate Practice Group in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience in corporate governance and securities, representing public companies.

Duties

• Review 1934 Act reports, proxy statements, and other disclosures.
• Advise on stock exchange listing matters.
• Work on capital markets transactions and public company mergers and acquisitions.
• Second-chair complex transactions and interact directly with clients.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and drafting skills.
• Excellent organization and matter management abilities.
• Effective communication with clients and supervising attorneys.
• Licensed and in good standing in the state of practice.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the relevant state.
