Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney with 1-3 years of civil litigation experience to join their team in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience in areas such as auto, premises liability, construction, product liability, and insurance coverage. Insurance defense experience is advantageous.

Duties

• Handle civil litigation cases from inception to jury verdict.
• Engage in legal research and draft legal documents.
• Represent clients in court and negotiate settlements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in PA; admission to OH and/or WV bars is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation and insurance defense preferred.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
