Duties

  • Prepare and assess employment-based immigration petitions and applications.
  • Draft H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM, and adjustment of status petitions.
  • Assist in preparing responses to government agency requests and audits.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies.
  • Communicate with clients and foreign nationals on case status and requirements.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to meet filing deadlines.
  • Develop knowledge of client industries and immigration programs.
  • Maintain accurate case records and support case management.
  • Contribute to practice development and process improvements.

Requirements

  • J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 0-3 years of employment-based immigration experience preferred.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with immigration-specific case management software preferred.

Education

  • J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
