A law firm is currently seeking an Attorney for its Saint Louis office, specializing in employment law. The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and hold an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing. The candidate should have 0-10 years of experience in employment law. The Attorney will be responsible for handling various aspects of employment law, representing clients in legal matters related to employment relationships. The role involves providing legal advice, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

 

Duties:

  • Handle employment law cases, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and labor disputes.
  • Provide legal counsel to employers and employees on employment-related issues.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on employment laws and regulations.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and other related documents.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and administrative proceedings.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment laws and advise clients accordingly.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop proactive strategies to mitigate employment-related risks.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.
  • 0-10 years of experience in employment law.
