Labor and Employment Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join its office in Saint Louis. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in advising and representing both private and public employers on various employment and labor matters.

Duties

• Handle high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters from inception to conclusion.
• Develop policies and procedures and conduct workplace investigations.
• Advise on non-compete and trade secret matters.
• Draft employment-related documents, including employment agreements and restrictive covenants.
• Litigate employment discrimination, wage and hour, and restrictive covenant cases.
• Manage business development efforts individually and in groups.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm.
• Experience representing and counseling employers on employment and labor matters.
• Interest in traditional labor matters, such as collective bargaining and union-related issues, is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Missouri.
