A law firm seeks a Cybersecurity Senior Associate/Of Counsel to join their Data Protection and Cybersecurity Team in San Diego, CA. This role involves managing privacy and data protection compliance matters, advising on data security incidents, and ensuring adherence to cybersecurity regulations. Duties

• Advise on privacy and security obligations and incident notification requirements.
• Defend regulatory investigations related to data privacy and security.
• Manage complex workloads and anticipate potential issues.
• Collaborate with technically-skilled individuals and distill key issues for non-technical team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in privacy and cybersecurity breach response or data breach litigation.
• Exceptional project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Admission to the state bar where the associate resides.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• State bar admission.
