Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate for its Memphis, TN office. This role offers an opportunity for an attorney with over three years of experience to develop their practice under the guidance of experienced partners. The position is ideal for candidates with a background in litigation and a keen interest in labor and employment law.

Duties

• Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings.
• Draft and argue motions in court.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Manage litigation matters from start to finish.
• Work with clients on employment law challenges.
• Draft and revise employee handbooks and conduct training.
• Participate in mediations and client education programs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience.
• Demonstrated interest in labor and employment law.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to growth and client service.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Tennessee Bar.
