Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified midlevel associate with 3-5 years of law firm experience to join the Employee Benefits practice in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in advising on employee benefits and executive compensation issues in M&A transactions, as well as experience in designing, drafting, and operating executive employment, nonqualified deferred compensation, and equity compensation plans and agreements.

Duties

  • Advise on employee benefits and executive compensation issues in M&A transactions.
  • Design, draft, and operate executive employment agreements.
  • Manage nonqualified deferred compensation plans.
  • Develop equity compensation plans and agreements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of law firm experience.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Bar membership required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active Bar membership.
