Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate - Of Counsel for a remote position available nationwide, including Saint Louis, MO. This role involves handling litigation, charges, and demand letters, with a focus on employment-related claims.

Duties

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges.
  • Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues.
  • Represent employers in court or arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediations in employment matters.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience handling California employment litigation for Associate role.
  • 9+ years of relevant California experience for Of Counsel role, with first chair capacity.
  • Must be admitted to the CA state bar and comply with all ethical requirements.
  • Understanding of current agency (state and federal) procedures.

Education

  • JD from ABA accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

  • Admitted to the CA state bar.
