Job Overview

A law firm seeks an attorney to join its Energy and Infrastructure practice in Menlo Park, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in energy projects related to renewables and energy storage, focusing on energy offtake work, including renewable energy power purchase agreements and related contracts.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate renewable energy power purchase agreements.
• Advise clients on energy storage offtake agreements.
• Handle agreements for carbon removal credits and nuclear offtakes.
• Work on renewable energy credit agreements and hedging agreements.
• Collaborate with clients in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 3-9+ years of relevant experience in energy projects.
• Excellent academic credentials and superior communication skills.
• Membership to the State Bar where the candidate will be located.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• State Bar membership in good standing.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
