Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Junior Associate with six months to 2 years of transactional tax experience to join their Energy and Infrastructure Tax practice in Washington, D.C. The role involves supporting the financing of renewable energy assets and monetizing tax credits, assisting developers, sponsors, and investors in wind, solar, and other renewable energy projects.

Duties

  • Support the Energy and Infrastructure group in financing renewable energy assets.
  • Assist in the monetization of tax credits for energy projects.
  • Collaborate with developers, sponsors, and investors on renewable energy projects.

Requirements

  • At least six months of large law firm experience in tax aspects of renewable energy transactions.
  • Experience in tax equity financings and M&A preferred.
  • Membership to the State Bar of the desired location is required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

  • State Bar membership in good standing.
