Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level corporate associate attorney with 4-6 years of private equity experience to join its private equity team in New York, New York. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team on a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and strategic alliances.

Duties

  • Draft transaction agreements and documents with efficiency and clarity.
  • Negotiate deal terms alongside clients and supervising attorneys.
  • Manage transaction closings and processes.
  • Provide thorough factual and legal research and analysis.
  • Communicate competently and professionally with clients and supervising attorneys.
  • Work with and oversee more junior team members.
