Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Vendor Management Contracts Attorney to join their team in Charlotte, NC, with the option for remote work across the United States. The role involves supporting firm-wide procurement and vendor management operations by drafting and negotiating supplier agreements and advising on contract processes and policies.

Duties

  • Review, draft, analyze, negotiate, and process various vendor contracts, including NDAs and master services agreements.
  • Participate in revising and developing contract templates and negotiation principles.
  • Assist in cataloging contracts and monitoring vendor performance.
  • Facilitate communication among legal, technology, and business teams.
  • Educate firm members on contract issues and processes.
  • Identify and support training and development needs.

Requirements

  • JD Degree and active admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience with vendor contract review and negotiation.
  • Proficiency in negotiating contracts related to data privacy, information security, and IT procurement.
  • Strong foundation in contract management and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage change in a dynamic organization.
  • Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, and AI regulations is a plus.

Education

  • JD Degree

Certifications

  • Active admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction

Skills

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with contracts databases and workflow management tools is a plus.
