Job Overview

A law firm seeks a litigator with 5-10 years of litigation experience to join its Civil Rights practice group in Chicago, IL. The attorney will manage a full caseload, collaborating with a dedicated team on high-profile civil rights cases involving police brutality, wrongful convictions, and more, litigating in both federal and state courts.

Duties

Requirements

  • Proven substantive civil trial experience.
  • Significant federal civil litigation experience preferred.

  • Effective communicator with a creative approach to litigation.
  • Commitment to social justice and advocacy for impacted communities.

Education

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Bar of the State of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois required.
