Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level or senior associate to join their Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits team in Los Angeles. The role focuses on the compensation aspects of Mergers and Acquisitions, requiring substantial experience in this area.

Duties

  • Work on executive compensation and employee benefits in M&A transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate executive employment agreements.
  • Develop equity incentive plans, including profits interest plans.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience with M&A, Section 280G, and Section 409A.
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating relevant agreements.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of California.

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
