Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly-qualified junior to midlevel associate to join the Corporate - Capital Markets and Public Companies practice in Princeton, NJ. The candidate should possess one to five years of large law firm experience and excellent academic credentials.

Duties

• Advise publicly traded companies on federal securities laws.
• Manage public and private securities offerings.
• Ensure compliance with stock exchange listings.
• Handle general corporate governance matters.
• Participate in venture finance transactions.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions.

Requirements

• One to five years of relevant experience in a large law firm.
• Experience advising publicly traded companies.
• Active bar membership.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar membership.

Skills

• Strong understanding of federal securities laws.
• Proficiency in corporate governance.
• Experience with venture finance and M&A.
