Duties

  • Conduct consultations with clients to assess financial and estate planning needs.
  • Provide tailored legal advice and solutions.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Draft and review trusts, wills, deeds, and powers of attorney.
  • Guide clients through the probate process and estate administration.
  • Perform legal research using various resources.
  • Stay updated on tax laws and apply knowledge to client cases.
  • Draft legal documents related to tax and estate matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Formulate and issue legal opinions under partner guidance.
  • Conduct negotiations to resolve client matters.
  • Advise and communicate regularly with clients.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in California.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation

Certifications

  • Admission to the California Bar
