Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ideal candidate will excel in courtroom advocacy and thrive in high-pressure environments, taking full ownership of cases from depositions through trial to achieve meaningful results for clients.

Duties

  • Manage personal injury cases through all stages of litigation.
  • Perform in-depth case analysis to evaluate liability and damages.
  • Draft, review, and file litigation documents, including discovery and motions.
  • Handle negotiations with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
  • Maintain strong client communication and provide consistent case updates.
  • Serve as first chair in civil jury trials.

Requirements

  • Lawyer in good standing to practice law in the state.
  • 7+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of state laws and legal procedures for personal injury cases.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of successful case management and client representation.
  • Experience in conducting legal research and preparing legal briefs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state.

Skills

  • Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive information.
