Job Overview: A law firm in Spokane, WA, seeks an Attorney II with 4-6 years of experience. Duties:

  • Mediation experience
  • Trial experience
  • Researching and analyzing complex legal issues
  • Writing memorandums, briefs, letters, and other documents
  • Marketing personal and firm services to prospective clients
  • Performing discovery of electronically stored data and hard copies of information
  • Performing due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions
  • Managing a schedule for consults and closure to meet production/collection objectives
  • Closing consults within the firm's range of 30-50%
  • Timely approval of invoices critical to business health on a monthly cycle
  • Ensure support staff are fully utilized and productive
  • Accurately updating client information in the case management system
  • Sharing work tasks with other attorneys and support staff when over-subscribed
  • Actively engaging in brand expansion through blogs, social media, and organization participation
  • Seeking positive comments and reviews from successful client engagements
  • Communicating and advising clients
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law school
  • Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the WA Bar
  • 4-6 years of experience as an attorney
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent legal research skills
