Job Overview

A top-tier law firm with a nationally recognized Trademark and Copyright team is seeking a full-time Trademark Associate to join its growing practice. This role is best suited for candidates fluent in both English and Spanish who have a minimum of 3 years of direct experience in U.S. and international trademark clearance and prosecution. The successful candidate will manage global trademark portfolios and engage in complex legal strategy for high-profile clients, including those in the entertainment industry. This is an on-site opportunity with multiple office location options.

Location

  • Atlanta, GA

Duties

  • Manage U.S. and international trademark portfolios

  • Conduct complex trademark clearance and risk assessment

  • Prepare and file trademark prosecution documents

  • Draft legal opinions and responses to office actions

  • Advise clients on brand protection strategies

  • Coordinate with foreign counsel on international filings

  • Handle matters related to entertainment industry trademarks (preferred)

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience in trademark clearance and prosecution

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)

  • Strong academic credentials

  • Excellent legal writing and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage a high-volume docket efficiently

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in good standing

Skills

  • Advanced trademark clearance and prosecution techniques

  • Experience with U.S. and international IP strategy

  • Strong verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish

  • Proficiency in working with high-profile and entertainment clients (preferred)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
