Project Finance Associate / Senior Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Project Finance Associate or Senior Associate for its New York office. The ideal candidate will have 4 or more years of experience in project finance, with a focus on debt project finance and/or tax equity transactions.

Duties

• Prepare, review, and negotiate credit agreements and intercreditor arrangements.
• Draft collateral documents and other ancillary financing documents.
• Handle equity capital contribution agreements and membership interest purchase agreements.
• Conduct due diligence on key project agreements, including joint venture agreements and EPC contracts.
• Collaborate on renewable energy project financings and tax equity investments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of transactional experience in project finance.
• Experience with debt project finance and/or tax equity transactions.
• Proficiency in reviewing and negotiating complex financial documents.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York.
