Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Environmental Attorney to join its Environmental and Natural Resources Group in California. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental regulatory and administrative enforcement matters, as well as a strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Duties

  • Advise clients on environmental regulatory and administrative enforcement matters, including CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, and the Clean Water Act.
  • Conduct environmental due diligence and investigations.
  • Manage site and sale of potentially contaminated properties.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive legal solutions.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in environmental law.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • Strong research, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and writing skills.
  • High level of academic achievement.
