Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate to join its Litigation practice group in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental and products liability litigation, with a focus on California state court experience.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including briefs and motions.
  • Assist in managing complex cases from inception to resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional interaction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative case strategies.
  • Participate in high-level legal activities such as court hearings and negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and stay updated on legal precedents.
  • Engage in professional development to enhance legal and leadership skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in litigation.
  • Experience in environmental and/or products liability litigation.
  • California state court experience.
  • Prior law firm or agency experience.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice in California.
