Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Transactional Real Estate Associate to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing, with additional experience in real estate debt or equity matters preferred.

Duties

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate documents such as purchase agreements, leases, and financing documents.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and provide strategic legal guidance.
  • Conduct due diligence and manage closing processes for real estate transactions.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of real estate transactional experience.
  • Experience with real estate debt or equity matters preferred.
  • Licensed and in good standing in the state of practice.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • State Bar admission.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Ability to work confidently with clients.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
