Corporate Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate to join its team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have experience in M&A transactions and/or venture capital financings, with a strong academic background from a nationally recognized school. This role requires direct and applicable big law firm experience and immediately transferable skills.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transaction preparation and strategy.
• Draft well-written legal documents, including memos, contracts, and correspondence.
• Assist in managing complex transactions from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing support and regular updates.
• Collaborate with other professionals to develop innovative transaction strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Engage in firm programs, civic organizations, and pro bono work.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of corporate experience.
• Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 firm experience preferred.

Education

• JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the state of Washington.
